Oprah Winfrey : Oprah Winfrey ‘hosting Obama’s inauguration-night party in Washington’

Oprah Winfrey is reportedly planning to celebrate U.S. President-elect Barack Obama’s victory by throwing a lavish party.

The chat show queen is rumoured to be hosting an exclusive inauguration-night party in Washington at an undisclosed location with her best friend, Gayle King.

Apart from that, sources said that Winfrey is doing her shows from the nation’s capital that week, potentially from the historic Kennedy Center.

“Oprah is doing her show live from the Kennedy Center that week and flying her staff in for it. It’s going to be a huge production,” the New York Post quoted a source, as saying.

Winfrey strongly supported Obama during his run for White House last spring, even joining him on some campaign stops along the way. (ANI)
