Oprah Winfrey : Oprah Winfrey to make movie on tome from her Book Club
- 0 Comments
Oprah Winfrey has joined hands with Tom Hanks and Universal in a bid to turn her latest Book Club choice into a new movie.
In 2008, the talk show queen introduced TV viewers to David Wroblewski’s The Story of Edgar Sawtelle.
And now, in a collaborative effort with Universal executives and Hanks’ Playtone company, Oprah is all set to produce the movie adaptation.
“It’s something I’ve never done before out of all the pictures I’ve ever done, I’ve always chosen to stay out of the movie making process,” Contactmusic quoted Winfrey as saying.
She added: “We will honour the book.” (ANI)
