Paula Abdul was addicted to drugs?

Paula Abdul is no longer dependent on pain killer drugs and this has happened for the first time in last 12 years. Paula Abdul has revealed this to Ladies Home Journal and it seems she is telling truth for the first time about substance abuse.

The LHJ reports that “Abdul was taking heavy-duty pain killers, though she claims she never shot an Idol episode under the influence”. This means that the rumors about her erratic behaviour during episodes of American Idol were a result of substance abuse may be finally true.

In February 2007, Abdul told Us Weekly that she had never been drunk or used illegal drugs and called the allegations “lies”. In a March 2007 appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman, Abdul joked that her scrutinized behavior was caused by her being “abducted by aliens”.
