Photographer Andres Serrano’s new photo exhibition is based on feces!

Controversial photographer Andres Serrano is nowadays busy preparing for his new photo exhibition, which features his own feces.
The provocateur, who caused a stir in 1989 when he received money from the taxpayer-funded National Endowment for the Arts for “P**s Christ,” his photo of a crucifix submerged in a glass container of his own urine, is coming to the Yvon Lambert Gallery in Chelsea for his exhibition “[Bleep]: An Investigation.”
“He’s preparing to mount the exhibition in the fall,” the New York Post quoted a source, as saying.
“It’s an investigation of feces created by a variety of different animals, including Serrano himself. He plans on making the images 60 inches high and in full color. They are jarring, to say the least,” the source added.
The source said that Serrano is so worried someone will steal his idea that he’s been refusing to discuss the photos until the show opens Sept. 4. It runs through Oct. 4.
“He’s very influential, so there has been a lot of speculation about what the content of this new show will be, but no one has guessed correctly so far,” the source said.
“People are going to be really shocked,” the source added. (ANI)
