Rachel McAdams : Rachel McAdams to play Black Cat in next Spider Man flick?

Actress Rachel McAdams may play comic book villainess Black Cat in the next installment of Spider Man series.

The ‘Notebook’ star is reportedly negotiating the deal with movie bosses.

If she signs up, viewers will get to see her play the costumed alter-ego of Felicia Hardy, Peter Parker’s new found love.

“She falls in love with Peter Parker, and uncovers his true identity. Her father then dies, and Hardy becomes a threat to Peter Parker,” the Daily Star quoted a source as telling film website Heyuguys.co.uk.

Meanwhile, Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst are set to reprise their roles.

The film will be directed by Sam Raimi and is scheduled to release in 2011. (ANI)
