Coldplay’s Chris Martin had been left red-faced when he was refused entry at his own
concert in native England after the security was unable to identify the singer.
The band’s lead vocalist, who had to explain his identity to the guards, had gotten on an underground train to reach the band’s latest sold-out concert in London.
The rocker, known for his unwillingness to be snapped, spoke of the embarrassment at the O2 arena incident.
“Security stopped me at the door and I had to explain who I was. That was a bit embarrassing,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling Britain’s Mirror newspaper.
The songwriter is married to Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow, with whom he has two kids. (ANI)
