Robert Pattinson : Robert Pattinson ‘embarrassed’ by Megan Fox dating rumours

 Robert Pattinson has said that he was embarrassed by rumours of a romance with Megan Fox.

The ‘Twilight’ hunk said that he was mortified to read gossip columns claiming that he had taken the ‘Transformers’ beauty on a “cheesy” date.

The stars fuelled speculation about a relationship when they posed for photos together at the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles in August (09).

However, Fox had subsequently dismissed the reports, insisting she barely knows the Brit heart-throb.

But the story left Pattinson cringing.

“I wouldn’t be that cheesy if I was to go on a date with her. Because I read this magazine thing that said, ‘He was rubbing her back, they were drinking Merlot… He was reading her poetry.’ I was so embarrassed, like, ‘Oh God!’” The Daily Star quoted Pattinson as telling British magazine Heat,

However, he admitted that his friends were very impressed by the rumours, saying: “I kept getting all these texts from my mates in England saying, ‘Whoa, are you going out with Megan Fox?’ And I’d met her once, for like two seconds.” (ANI)
