Rod Stewart : Rod Stewart denies there will be Faces reunion

Brit singer/songwriter Rod Stewart has denied that his old band Faces will reunite later this year for a comeback tour.

Faces keyboard player Ian McLagan had said in July that the band were considering a reunion, but Stewart’s spokesperson told US music industry weekly Billboard “there are no plans for a Faces tour this year”.

“We’re hoping to get together later this year to play and then we may have some news, but I want it to happen, badly,” the BBC quoted McLagan as telling 6 Music.

McLagan also said that Stewart had been the only member uncertain about reforming.

“Rod hasn’t wanted to do it for a long time. He didn’t see the need in it but I think he really wants to now,” he added. (ANI)
