Rod Stewart’s £1m present for Prince Charles’ birthday

Singer Rod Stewart is to gift Prince Charles a million pound present on his 60th birthday – by singing at a private party.

The legendary musician, who charges a million pound for a private performance, shall sing without any cost for his old friends Prince Charles and his wife Camilla.

” The main musical entertainment at the party will be provided by Rod Stewart, who is an ambassador for the Prince’s Trust,” the Daily Express quoted a Clarence House spokesman as saying.

“He is giving his performance as a birthday present to the Prince,” the spokesman added.

The 63-year-old will perform at the Gloucestershire residence on November 15, the day after Prince Charles’s birthday.

The songwriter also dominated the headlines at the ‘Concert for Diana’ at Wembley stadium last year, an event headed by Princes William and Harry to mark the occasion of their mother’s 46th birthday. (ANI)
