Roku black friday; Roku’s HD-XR sold at half price!

Last month saw the launch of Roku’s high end HD-XR, 80211 supported, wireless networking set-tops. And this Black Friday saw the $129.99 gizmo being sold at $64.99. That’s correct! Roku slashed 50% of the price for black Friday and the first 500 customers.

If you are wondering, why haven’t you heard about the offer, it’s not your fault! Roku did not advertise this offer. As it was just for the first 500 hundred customers, it knew that the product would be sold out in a jiff plus it did not wanted to give false hope to the people as the stocks were just of 500 units. If millions of people got to know about it they would only come to the website to see it sold out. Roku did not want that.

Like we said, all of the 500 HD-XRs were sold out in a jiffy. Roku didn’t only slash its price to 50% but they also provided free shipping.
