Saif and Kareena: ‘Saifeena’ has a close call.

In what was potentially a near death experience for the sizzling Bollywood star couple, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor had a lucky reprieve when the glass door of a store at PVR Gurgaon, smashed to smithereens just inches away from them.

It was very much a providential let off coz had they been passing a little more closely by the door, they could have copped some serious injuries.

They had reportedly gone to Gurgaon on a promotional call for their latest venture ‘Kurbaan’.

Referring to the near fatal accident, a source from Dharma Productions, who was accompanying the duo said, “Saif and Bebo were at the PVR Ambience in Gurgaon for the film’s promotion. Nearly, 75,000 people came to see the ‘it’ couple. It is one of the largest malls in India. Each mall is more than 1 km long and there were thronging crowds at the atria area. There were nine floors; each was packed with fans.”

Though the security was in place to ward off any danger, the number of people at the ‘Ambience’ swelled massively and with all falling at the door of a shop to catch a glimpse of the couple, the door eventually gave way.

Saif however brushed off the incident saying, ‘I think such things are too trivial to talk about.”

We can only say, ‘Phew!’
