Sania Mirza, Yuvraj Singh or Dhoni: who could be the next Bollywood star?

If newspapers are to be believed then tennis ace Leander Paes has shown interest in films, and he has hinted that he may try his hands into acting after he hangs his tennis boots. Well, this is not the first time some sportsperson has shown interest in movies. Starting from Dara singh to Praveen Kumar (aka Bheem) who is a 2 times gold medal winner in Asian games, to our very own cricket stars Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Jadeja, Kambli, to every man’s desire Deepika Padukone (a national level badminton player) and many more. But today, all sports stars are busy with advertisements and don’t think about movies. Still, if given a chance, whom would we like to see as a film star, off the field, and on the celluloid screen.  Here is my wish list:

* Sania Mirza: The beautiful tennis star, with a curvaceous figure, and lots of oomph. Whether on or off with tennis, she remains in news quite a lot. She also has a huge fan following. So she will make a good film star, though she has to take a few acting lessons. That’s not an issue, there are many tom dick & harrys who are acting in movies, so our Sania can also win this field.
* Yuvraj Singh: His dressing room mates calls him ‘drame-baaz’, just because they have seen his acting skills very closely, and we are still deprived of it. Arguably one of the most stylish batsman in the world today, is also a very stylish person in real life. He will certainly be a very good actor.
* M. S. Dhoni: The phenomenally talented and also very successful captain of Indian Cricket team can pull off anything with élan. Also, he has John Abraham & Bipasha Basu beside him for help.
* S. Sreesanth: well, he has shown drama in front of whole world….Jokes apart, but he has good looks, and he is a very good dancer too, which is a very essential thing to be an actor in Bollywood.
* Rajyawardhan Singh Rathore: simply because he has loads and loads of attitude. Just see any of his interviews or ads, he seems like a lion. The silver medal winner in Olympics is certainly a good choice for movies.
* Mithali Raj: The dusky beauty who was once the captain of women’s Indian cricket team would also be a very good choice. We know about her cricket prowess but very few people know that she is a trained in Bharata Natyam dancer, and she has also give stage performances. She will certainly fit the bill.

So, that’s my list. Can you suggest a few more?
