Scherzinger says long-distance relationship with Hamilton ‘is tough’

Singer Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls counts on phonecalls and impromptu visits from her racing champion beau Lewis Hamilton to keep their romance alive – because they are both so occupied with their work.

Hamilton and Scherzinger have been dating each other since last year but spend most of the time away because of work.

“It’s hard, we’re always in different countries – we live in different countries! But we’re very happy with the way things are. We really want to make it work and that’s important in a relationship,” Contactmusic quoted Scherzinger, as telling Britain’s OK! Magazine.

Scherzinger tries hard to keep in touch with Hamilton and it becomes very expensive to do so.

“We have expensive phone calls. We do last-minute flights to see each other for a couple of hours. We don’t have much time, but we make the most of what we have,” she said.

“The other day he flew in to see me while I was working. Then we went off for some Italian food and made the most of the precious little time we had,” she added. (ANI)
