Sherrod Herris sent on field after Texas’ bad-to-worse condition

It is one match which Texas Longhorns would not like to recall ever. First it was the quarterback McCoy’s injury that had cost enough to the team as far as the game spirit was concerned. And then his replacement Garret Gilbert too got injured! Too horrible for the Texas, isn’t it?

Reports from techbanyan and al.com say Texas is indeed under trauma after two of their quarterbacks suffered injuries.

The 2010 BCS National Championship match between Texas and Alabama on 7th January 2010 had the ace quarterback McCoy getting injured after he tried to take a helmet from Alabama player Marcell Sareus to his throwing shoulder. Though his injuries were not that serious and he wasn’t taken to the hospital either, yet he was not allowed to play the rest of the game.

An X-ray report was found negative but he was allowed rest for the remaining match. Garrett Gilbert was sent as a new quarterback. But hold on…it seemed the crisis of the Texas team was not yet over.

Garret Gilbert too suffered an injury and his arm was hurt. Courtney Upshaw drilled him on the arm.

As the third-string quarterback, Sherrod Harris was sent on the ground to replace Garret Gilbert. Can he play upto the expectation level? Can he deal with the pressure and fetch the team a win against the Alabama?

Let’s pray for the best and let’s see whether a match loss breaks the Texas record of 13-0 or they finishes with a 14th consecutive win!
