Spandau Ballet to announce comeback plans on H.M.S. Belfast

Eighties band Spandau Ballet are set to announce their comeback plans onboard H.M.S. Belfast in London on March 25.

The group announced tentative plans to reform last month but refused to reveal more details.

They’ve invited the world’s media to join them on the famous ship for ‘a major announcement’.

The band, whose hits included ‘Gold’ and ‘True, split in 1989 and spent a large part of the past 20 years squabbling over royalties.

However, now it seems they’re all friends again.

“The boys are back in town and we can’t wait. It’s going to be brilliant, we’re very excited. But it will be very different to how we used to be,” Contactmusic quoted frontman Tony Hadley, as telling Britain’s Sunday People newspaper.

“Obviously there’ll be all the hits, the nostalgia, but there will also be a new take on what Spandau Ballet are about,” he added. (ANI)
