Please stop propagating this story. He said “real leap…I don’t know…”
What in the world does the current president have to do with staying true to the comics when adapting them to movies?
There are black superheroes already. Many have yet to be adapted to film. There is no reason to change one of the most well known superheroes of all time simply because of a presidential election.
Would they make the Falcon white if McCain gets elected? Would they make Bucky a female also since his VP is female?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m a big fan of Mr Smith, but he is no Captain America.
