Stephen Gately : Gately was drug free on night of death, proves toxicology report

A toxicology report into the death of Stephen Gately has apparently put an end to speculation that the Boyzone star had had been taking drugs on the night he died.

The singer was found dead at his holiday home in Spain after choking on his vomit in the night on October 10.

The 33-year-old Irishman’s shock death had led investigators to probe if the use of any substances was involved, reports the Mirror.

Officials found small traces of cannabis but they were so tiny that the report will say it could have been consumed days before Gately’s holiday in Majorca.

The results of the toxicology report will soon be officially announced. (ANI)
