The troubled pop star, who is in the middle of a divorce with jailbird hubby Blake Fielder-Civil, has allegedly had a shoulder to cry on, that of her recent friend Fidel Missore in St. Lucia. 

“Fidel has been a shoulder to cry on for Amy. He has been her rock. She has told him she still loves Blake and wants to get back with him,” the Sun quoted an island source as saying.

“She cried her eyes out as she told him Blake had filed for divorce and may have got another girl pregnant. Fidel comforted her, hugging her and making jokes to try and make her smile.

“Whenever she sees Fidel, she can’t stop smiling. He is a fantastic, calming influence on her. They have become really close since Amy returned to St Lucia – and I’m sure he is one of the big reasons why she has decided to move there permanently,” the source added. (ANI)

The ‘Rehab’ singer recently returned to St. Lucia, where she has spent much of the last four months in a bid to escape her wild London lifestyle.

And Winehouse has been inspired to help underprivileged kids in St. Lucia – with reports suggesting she is putting plans in motion to become an orphan’s adoptive mother.

However, Winehouse’s representative insists the singer’s words were taken out of context.

He said that Winehouse isn’t thinking of adopting in the literal sense – explaining that the singer is determined to offer a helping hand to kids’ community projects in the resort.

“Amy was talking about adopting in the context of looking after children on the island, perhaps through some kind of music and education-based project,” Contactmusic quoted the rep as saying. (ANI)

The purpose behind the adoption is that the singer wants to help poor and underprivileged children of St Lucia. “Amy is seriously thinking about adopting. But she is aware it’s going to be incredibly difficult with her background,” the Daily Mail quoted a source as saying.

The news comes after it was revealed that her estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil had made a woman pregnant at a Sheffield rehabilitation clinic.

“Amy’s gutted about Blake becoming a dad and moving on so quickly. She has always wanted to be a mother. She loves St Lucia and would move there for good in order to adopt,” the source added.

Her spokesman said: “Amy was talking about adopting in the context of looking after children on the island, perhaps through some kind of music and education-based project.” (ANI)

According to Thisislondon.co.uk, the crooner has even recruited her new man to help with house-hunting duties, while she searches out for her own pad in St. Lucia.

“Amy has been letting her hair down on the island and is enjoying being single. She instantly clicked with Junior and is just having a bit of fun. It’s very early days but she loves spending time with him,” the Daily Express quoted a source as telling the website.

“They were snuggling into each other as they walked around the villa, taking in the spectacular views. It is in a very secluded area, with four bedrooms and a huge swimming pool.

“There is a massive deck, where Amy said she’d love to be able to get a band out onto to play over the valley views,” the source added.

Mum Janis confessed she wanted her girl to be at distance from her “controlling and manipulating” son-in-law, which is why she encouraged the singer to fly to St Lucia.

“We had to get her out of his reach,” the Sun quoted Janis as telling Heat.

“He doesn’t have her number out there. When Amy was back she was in touch with Blake but personally, as her mother, I find him very controlling and manipulating,” she added.

The singer was devastated after Gilleen Morris, 31, claimed the she got pregnant with Fielder-Civil’s child following a romp in a Sheffield rehab clinic.

According to a source, Winehouse went to her studio on Caribbean isle St Lucia and penned her emotional song, hours after hearing the news.

The new song even repeats the famous line from her biggest hit ‘Rehab’: “No, No, No.”

“Amy still felt they had something between them and that one day they’d be together again. But this news destroyed her,” the Sun quoted the source as saying.

“She sat down with her guitar and started writing The Ultimate Betrayal.

“She keeps repeating the line: ‘Blake a baby, no, no, no.’ It’s very haunting,” the source added.

In the next two months, Winehouse is due to complete her third album.

Most of her Grammy-winning 2006 record ‘Back to Black’ was written about Fielder-Civil and their turbulent relationship before they got married.

The source added: “Amy’s best material was written when heartbroken by Blake, when he was two-timing her. But with all her problems we would rather she was happy than writing brilliant, emotive songs.” (ANI)

Though the Universal record bosses spent a huge amount on making Amy return to the Caribbean in a bid to help her “focus her mind” on her forthcoming album, their efforts have gone in vain because she has not yet stepped into the studio.

Winehouse has not yet stepped into the studio with producer Salaam Remi, who was behind her hit album ‘Frank’. Instead, the ‘Back to Black’ hitmaker has been busy trying out stuff with Damon Albarn and his band of Gorillaz.

According to sources, the Universal bosses are already infuriated with Winehouse, as she has not been able to make a single up market song.

“They were not happy to say the least. They want Amy to get cracking on her new album, but the results have so far not been up to scratch,” the Mirror quoted a source as telling 3am.

“Imagine how they felt when they realized she had agreed to work with Gorillaz? They couldn’t believe it. It’s an unnecessary distraction. They think she should invest all her energy in her own music. She should be knuckling down and delivering the goods,” the source added.

On the other hand, Winehouse, who has become a fan of Gorillaz style of music, is livid that her record bosses are not humming the same tune as her. (ANI)

Winehouse, who spent three months on holiday, trying to kick her drug habit, now wants a permanent base there.

“Amy has instructed lawyers to draw up contracts with the developers and everything is set for her to buy it. But a few days ago Mitch (her dad) stepped in and said he wasn’t sure. “But Amy says it’s better for her to be out there than in London. She has managed to get off hard drugs in St Lucia and is living a much healthier lifestyle,” she added.

The whitewashed villa is part of the exclusive Ocean Residences resort in St Lucia’s Sugar Beach.

Set in 162 acres of lush rainforest, the holiday home has spectacular views of white sand beaches from its private balcony and own infinity pool. (ANI)

“The lyrics are very dark indeed. While she’s known for her confessional style and has been very successful with it, many of the tracks are near the knuckle,” the source said.

“Everyone understands that Amy is an artist and she must be true to her instincts. In the past, she’s written frequently about broken hearts and boyfriends, but this time round she’s delving into harrowing terrain,” the source added.

According to the source, Winehouse, whose last major hit was in 2006, cannot afford to take the risk of jeopardizing her forthcoming album with less entertaining songs.

“If she puts out a record that is in any way half-baked, that could severely damage her long-term prospects, so everyone’s focus at the minute is getting it right, even if that means telling Amy some things she probably won’t want to hear,” the source said. (ANI)

According to the reports, Winehouse will be a guest of the island’s Tourism Minister, Allen Chastanet.

“She’s welcome to stay as long as she wants to. We enjoy having her here,” Contactmusic quoted Chastanet as telling E! Online.

“I wish we had recording facilities for her. I know she was trying very hard to record her album down there. That is something the government is working on down the road,” he added. (ANI)

“Within an hour, her eyelids were red raw and puffy, and she was feeling in real pain.

“She wanted to call the doctor but was a little embarrassed.

“Poor Amy is mortified. Not to mention sore. All in all, it wasn’t a great weekend,” the source added. (ANI)

Mitch revealed that his daughter plans on having a heart-to-heart with her hubby Fielder-Civil, who was released from jail last month, and he fears that the Rehab singer is trying to get back with him.

“Amy wants to resolve the situation. She’s guilty of loving him, stupid girl,” the Sun quoted him as saying.

“I’m not saying she is going back to him, she just wants to talk. But I want her to get divorced. I want Blake and his family out of our lives.

“It’s the only chance Amy has. She nearly ended up dead thanks to him,” he added.

Mitch also told Closer magazine that he would do his best to make sure that Fielder-Civil did not get a penny of his daughter’s fortune.

“He’s after 5million pounds. Does he think we’re idiots?” he said.

“For a start off, she’s all woman – and no longer possesses the body of a pre-pubescent teenager. Since keeping away from the drugs, Amy’s finding new pleasure in food – something she used to be pretty indifferent about.

“She still likes her sweets though… and the odd shandy here and there.” When we saw her at an event last week, she looked like she’d had far more than the odd shandy – but that could have been down to post-holiday blues.

“I like poetry. I’m writing poetry. I’ve always written it. It calms me down. Makes me feel happy,” the Mirror quoted her as saying.

Although the estranged couple are materializing their divorce, Blake’s mother has lashed out at Winehouse for her alleged affairs and her father’s controlling ways.

Winehouse’s father Mitch has also alleged that Georgette has been harassing him by sending him menacing text messages and threatening to stab him.

“She was screaming, ‘If I had a knife I’d stab you’, it was terrifying. She’s like a stalker trying to make our lives hell. She’s blaming my daughter for her son’s failings and she’s out to destroy Amy,” the Daily Star quoted Mitch as saying.

Mitch also claimed that he immediately informed the police after receiving a threatening letter from Georgette.

The ‘Back To Black’ hitmaker was overzealous about performing at the Coachella concert with talented entertainers like The Killers and Paul McCartney, but she was left saddened after being denied the visa for punching a fan.

“She is not appearing at Coachella this year in the light of current legal issues,” the Mirror quoted her spokesman as saying.

Winehouse was overjoyed about the gig, as it would have been one of her biggest shows in America, and she had been looking forward to it after building a clean image for her by staying away from drugs.

“Amy is absolutely gutted. She was looking forward to getting back on stage and this was going to be one of the biggest shows of her life. She was second on the bill on the Saturday night to the Killers. As well as 75,000 fans, there would have been top record execs there too so she might have even tried out some new material,” a source said.

“But because of the court case she can’t get a visa. It’s a real setback after she has been getting clean from drugs over in Barbados,” the source added.

Winehouse is due before Westminster magistrates next Tuesday over claims that she punched Sherene Flash at September’s Berkeley Ball in London.

This is not the first time that visa problems have stopped her performing in America, for she was due at last year’s Grammies, but had trouble convincing officials she was off drugs and her papers did not arrive in time.

She had to perform live via satellite from London instead. (ANI)

“Fran wants to leave the area and have a fresh start with Blake at his place in Camden,” the Daily Star quoted a pal, as saying.

“She came in to school on Monday to have a meeting with a maths teacher she gets on with.

“She dropped her books off and said goodbye to her classmates. She hasn’t been seen there since,” the pal added.

Fielder-Civil wrote to Morralee while he was jailed for attacking a publican and trying to fix the case.

“Even on a flight for a school trip to Barcelona she was writing a letter to him in prison. She was writing: ‘I love you Blake,’ and things like that,” the pal said.

“She had a couple of boyfriends before him but I can’t remember anything this serious,” the pal added.

Winehouse’s will be leaving her mansion in Camden in a bid to settle down in North London’s Barnet.

As Camden holds multifarious bad memories for the ‘Back to Black’ hitmaker, her mother Janis bought a home in Barnet, while her daughter was away holidaying.

“Amy has had a wonderful two months living the high life in St Lucia and, of course, she’s sad to be back to reality. But after getting her act together and staying off the drugs, she’s determined to stay clean,” the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

“Camden holds a lot of bad memories – especially the time spent there with Blake. So while she was away her mum Janis went house-hunting on Amy’s behalf, looking at pads near her own,” the source added.

Winehouse’s mother bought the mansion in Barnet in a bid to keep her daughter close to her, so that she could keep an eye on her.

“She found a Regency-style four-bedroom townhouse in a middle-class, suburban area in Barnet. At around £1.4million it wasn’t cheap but Amy can afford it. Janis wants Amy close to her, so she can keep a strict eye on her daughter,” the source said.

“The move is to ensure Amy stays out of harm’s way and focuses on making great music,” the source added.

Winehouse, who was busy writing songs during her holiday, has also been working on her 12-year-old goddaughter Dione’s debut album.

Meanwhile, she has clearly declared that she is back in London for her god-daughter, and not for her estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

“I’m here for Dionne – not Blake,” she said.

She said that young female artists were being forced to dress in sexy outfits and perform provocative acts.

She blasted industry bosses saying that semi-naked routines-like those performed by the Pussycat Dolls, Katy Perry and Girls Aloud-had become more important for them than the music itself.

“Young girls today have to straddle naked before they can get noticed. It’s cheapened the music and I think it is exploitative. I would never have stripped off like that and gyrated up and down a pole,” the Scotsman quoted her as saying.

“There are talented kids who don’t need to do that, but it is just expected of them. It’s so regressive. I feel bad for them.

“To be a singer, you have to be naked and do things with your body and men on video. What has that got to do with the music?” she added.

“I would not want to be launching a career now. Nowadays, you have to achieve world domination or you get dropped by the record company. If the first single’s not a hit, you’re out. Today, to be successful, it is not enough to be a good singer. You have to have an army of people all focusing on that goal relentlessly,” said the singer, who achieved stardom after her hit ‘Shout’ reached the Number 1 spot in the charts, when she was just 15 years old.

“You don’t just have to have talent and appeal. There has to be a big strategy.

“You have to be able to hold your head together, because the celebrity thing is completely out of whack. I think it’s crazy,” she added.

Lulu revealed that she loved listening to the music produced by Pink, Christina Aguilera, Duffy, Alexandra Burke and Amy Winehouse.

“I love Duffy and Alexandra Burke who just won the X-Factor. They are really talented. I’m an Amy Winehouse fan – she’s a great writer. She reminds me of the Ronettes,” she said.

She, however, also revealed that she did not like the current pop culture.

“It’s like a McDonald’s world. Everything is instant – instant success and instantly disposable,” said the Glasgow-born singer.

“Even when it was really crazy in the 1960s, it wasn’t like it is now. It is beyond insane.”

“Everybody is a celebrity. There is nobody to aspire to be. Everybody is famous and everybody is documenting every time they breathe, spit, cough or close their eyes.

Fielder-Civil was released from jail on February 25, but Winehouse did not have any idea about it, and when she came to know about it in St Lucia, where she has been holidaying since December, she decided to return.

“It’s all going ahead – but I don’t really know what will happen. It’s just nice to be on the outside again. Now I am going to get over my drug habit,” he said.

Winehouse, on the other hand, has been doing well in her battle against heroin and crack cocaine addiction, but friends fear that her coming back to London might do her damage.

“We are nervous about her returning to London and seeing Blake,” a pal said.

“She thinks their fights and problems are romantic in a tortured love kind of way. We think it’s a bit sad – and very dangerous.

The ‘Back to Black’ hitmaker, who is battling her drug and alcohol addiction, was allegedly joined by her father Mitch in the hunt.

“Mitch and Amy have been looking at property while he has been in St Lucia. They saw a few potential places this weekend,” the Sun quoted a pal as saying.

“Amy loves it over there and being away from it all has helped her hugely in her fight against drugs.

“She has been drinking and smoking cannabis but is still a million times better than she was in Camden.

“Her family think the best way to keep her out of trouble is to have a house in the suburbs and a place in the Caribbean where she can totally get away,” the pal added. (ANI)
