The ‘Mad Money’ actress thinks that after meeting her family over a dinner party, people would apologize for their rude comments and would stop being rude to her lovely family, reports the China Daily.

“Sometimes I think I would say, ‘Why don’t you come over and have dinner?” she told America’s Glamour magazine.

Holmes revealed that some of the offensive comments left her aghast, when Suri her 2-year-old daughter was born.

” Katie admits she finds it hard when people spread rumors about Suri – shortly after she was born rumors circulated Katie’s pregnancy was an elaborate hoax and that Suri didn’t exist – and is determined to protect her daughter at all costs,” she said.

“Some of the stuff people said was such absolutely horrible things to say about a child. It was so uncalled for and so disgusting. Enough is enough. “Tom was supportive. We were changing diapers. He said, ‘I don’t want you to get upset.’ And I said, ‘Well, I am upset,” she added.

Holmes further revealed that she and her husband Tom Cruise together handled those comments.

“So we approached it together. But I definitely felt like – as a woman, as the mother of Suri – I want to handle this! My mom is very strong, and if anyone ever said anything about any of us, she would be, ‘Excuse me? That’s my family!” she said. (ANI)

Holmes has stepped out twice in the line to rave reviews.

Holmes was reported to be planning a full-fledged runway show at New York Fashion Week in September, but the rumours have been dismissed.

Previews of her debut play start on Sept. 18 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. The play also stars John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson and will officially open on Oct. 16.

“It’s like a huge family reunion every day at their house,” the Daily Telegraph quoted a family friend, as saying.Sources claim that the ‘Batman Begins’ star has insisted that everyone – other than Suri and Cruise’s two children with Nicole Kidman, Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13, find some other place to live.

And, the person who’s listening to Posh pent up anger with Katie is pint-sized Hollywood pal Eva Longoria, who’s sporting a short crop herself these days, looking more like the Spice Girl every day.

The twosome reportedly met at the Desperate Housewife’s LA nosherie Beso over the weekend and it seems Posh is convinced that Cruise’s wife got her “Pob” just to upstage her.

“When she arrived in LA Victoria felt she was the equal to any star. But with the failure of the Spice Girls reunion and David’s faltering career, she is terrified everyone’s losing interest in brand Beckham,” the Daily Star quoted an insider, as saying.

She added: “The one thing she thought she had over Katie and other leading lights was her sense of style. But now that Katie’s usurping her, she doesn’t know how they can continue to be friends.” (ANI)

“She was super gracious and lovely. And statuesque and gorgeous, Contactmusic quoted Henstridge, as telling People.com.

Henstridge also revealed how Holmes impressed the cast by helping them move the set’s furniture.

She said: “I was literally moving a table with (executive producer) Greg Berlanti at the table read, and Katie came in and said, ‘Do you guys need any help?’”

Jason Winston George, who plays Keith Bennett, added: “Katie throws down her Starbucks and runs over to help move tables.” (ANI)

Dr. Charles Czerepak, a paediatric dentist and member of the board of the American Academy of Pediatrics, says that children should quit drinking from a bottle much before turning two.

“We recommend that the mother start to wean the child from the bottle around nine months,” the New York Daily News quoted him as saying.

“The real issue is dental cavities. Water is never going to cause dental decay, but milk and juice will,” he added.

The newspaper report suggests that the little Cruise was recently seen drinking through a bottle, when she appeared with her mother Katie Holmes on the sets of TV drama ‘Eli Stone’.

However, Suri is not the only kid in Hollywood with such a habit apparently Angelina Jolie’s daughter Zahara has the same habit too. (ANI)

ABC’s ‘Eli Stone’ is a drama about an attorney, played by ‘Jonny Lee Miller’, who is suffering with a peculiar brain aneurysm, which causes hallucinations, which are actually visions of the future.

Greg Berlanti, the director of the TV series, has directed Holmes in Dawson’s Creek and found her appropriate for her role in ‘Eli Stone’.

“I was at the table read and she was fabulous, It’s a great role for her. There’s some singing and dancing that she does and she’s exquisite.” New York Daily news quoted ABC Entertainment president Stephen McPherson as telling the members of TV Critics Association in LA.

Holmes’ scenes would be shot within the next few days, after which she’ll fly to New York for her Broadway debut in a revival of Arthur Miller’s “All My Sons” this fall, McPherson said. (ANI)

According to New York Post, Cruise’s better half spent hours scrutinizing the huge apartment at the Trump Park Avenue.

“She saw it and she loved it,” Daily Telegraph quoted Trump Executive Vice President Michael Cohen, as saying.

The striking apartment unit at 502 Park Avenue has 5,000square feet of interior space and 2,000 square feet of large space for the terrace with four huge bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, a den, a library, high end appliances with startling chandeliers, with a one of its kind security system.

The couple is more than willing to buy the marvellously built apartment. “They’re very interested and are now making their decision.”  Cohen said. (ANI)

Holmes, 29, has a different outlook about growing old. According to her, ageing helps her learn more about herself “every day”.

“I find that as I get older I am excited to get older. There are more things for me to learn. I realise that I don’t know as much as I thought I did. I like looking back and seeing pictures of the past because that is ‘who’ I created for me,” the China Daily quoted her as saying.

“That is what I was doing. I appreciate it more and more. Every day I try to find out more things about myself. I love changing,” she said.

The actress, who has a two-year-old daughter Suri with husband Tom Cruise, also denied claims she’s stolen her friend, former Spice Girls star, Victoria Beckham’s style, insisting hers is a lot more laidback.

“We are great friends and she is such a lovely woman. Yes, Victoria has a strong sense of style but I feel my style is different. She always looks great, whereas my style is very easy and laid-back,” she added. (ANI)

Kidman has two adopted kids with Cruise. Kidman got married to Urban after an 18-month courtship in a Catholic Ceremony in Sydney in 2006, while Cruise married Holmes in a star studded Scientology Wedding in an Italian Castle in the same year.
