Legendary singer Ronnie Wood has finally been accepted by his young lover’ family, and has also got a nickname Ronik, it has been reported.

Twenty-year-old Ekaterina Ivanova’s granny says she would fondly accept a marriage.

Lyudmila Ivanova, 75, had once called 61-year-old Rolling Stones guitarist “ugly and disgusting”.

“If its real love, let them be happy together,” the Sun quoted Lyudmila as saying.

“It won’t last long. She is much younger than him, so she will have a chance to find another man if something happens to Ronnie.

“Ekaterina’s swimwear turned as many heads as her curves did. It had strange circular patterns which looked like crop circles on her boobs,” News of the World quoted an onlooker as saying.

The rocker had parted ways with his wife to be with the 20-year-old former cocktail waitress and was said to have been least bothered during the romantic break.

Rod Stewart : The Faces may reunite just for a handful of gigs, not full tour

If The Faces reunite, they will do so only for a couple of summer shows and not a full tour, say reports.

The reports also suggest that the band’s frontman Rod Stewart may or may not join in.

The group, consisting of Stewart, Ian MCLagan, Kenney Jones and Ronnie Wood, reformed for a series of top secret rehearsals last year, following which it was suggested that they might begin a full tour.

Even wood suggested after Christmas last year that the bandmates couldn’t wait to hit the road.

However, negotiations fell flat last month.

MCLagan now says that the band may make a comeback for a handful of concerts.

“(The idea is) we do a couple shows and film it. Whether Rod (Stewart) wants to do that… I’m hoping he’ll be into that ’cause it’ll be such a lot of fun. It’s what the three of us would like Rod to agree to,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling Billboard.com.

“I’ll get a call eventually, and maybe we’ll do something in June or July, ’cause I don’t want to do anything next year. I’m not gonna wait again… It’s now or never! I’ve got my fingers crossed, but I’m not going to waste energy trying to make it happen. I’ve worked for 30 years trying to make it happen. It’s now in the lap of the gods – or the hands of Rod, maybe,” he added. (ANI)

The 61-year-old rocker Ronnie Wood – who has been treated for alcoholism several times over the last 30 years – has been warned to curb his partying or risk being banned from a proposed autumn tour of America with bandmates Sir Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts.

A source told Britain’s Daily Express newspaper: “All the band have to have a compulsory pre-tour medical to make sure they can get insurance. “Ronnie failed his medical for the 2002/2003 tour because he was drinking seven times the recommended number of alcohol units a week. He had to spend months drying out at a clinic in Arizona.

“There are worries that could be the case again this time.” Ronnie was most recently treated for his alcohol addiction last August at the Life Works clinic in Surrey, England, following a 10-day drinking binge in Ireland with Russian girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova, 20. If he is banned from touring, Ronnie risks losing out on hundreds of thousands of pounds.

The ‘Satisfaction’ rockers’ ‘Bigger Bang’ world tour, which took place between August 2005 and August 2007, was the highest-grossing of all time, generating $558,255,524. The group were also named the highest-paid private performers last year,
commanding a staggering ?3.5 million per private show.

The former Faces star had laid his money matters in the hands of his stepson Jamie.

But a string of bad investments, along with several companies set up in the names of his family members, were proving bothersome for the bassist and his new legal team.

“Ron feels like everyone in his family is benefiting from his name except him. He wants it sorted out so he can start again,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.

“Keith Richards sent a message of support and expensive jewellery over Christmas to cheer his mate up. He also told him to get things sorted out.

“Most people see Mick Jagger as the force behind the Stones. He is with the money, but Keef is the spiritual driving force.

According to The Sun, the group will also take along a guest bass player to replace the late Ronnie Lane.

English rock guitarist Ronnie Wood’s estranged wife Jo has “given up” on him, after he is believed to have gone back to his old boozing ways.

Jo was convinced that 61-year-old Wood had gone back to his old habits after she came to know about his lads’ night out with snooker star Ronnie O’sullivan, artist Damien Hirst and close pals, just days after leaving a drying-out clinic.

“To say she has her suspicions about his drinking would be an understatement. Nothing surprises her with Ron any more,” the Sun quoted one of Jo’s pals as saying.

“He’s moved back from rehab and his family are sure he is back on the vodka. They know him better than anyone else.

“One of his sons was told Ron had been spotted drinking neat vodka again.

“Jo knows better than anyone that he is an expert at keeping his drinking under the radar,” the pal added.

But friends of the rocker insists that he did not touch even a drop during their visit to Gordon Ramsay’s Claridge’s restaurant in Mayfair, central London, and that he was there just for laughs and a cup of coffee.

“Ron played snooker, ate bacon and egg rolls and drank some coffee,” a source said.

“He has been having sessions three nights a week with an addiction counsellor even though he has left rehab and is doing really well.

“Ronnie O’Sullivan scored a 145 break and everyone left with a smile on their face. It was all good, clean fun,” the source added.

A spokesman for the star refused to comment on whether he had picked up his old habit again. (ANI)

Thirty years have passed, but singers Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood taking a swing at each other over the Rolling Stone rocker accusing Stewart of being a penny pinching jock.

Wood labelled Rod “tighter than two coats of paint” years ago. Predictably, the slur didn’t go down well with pal Rod.

Rod is now fuming once again.

Rocker Ronnie Wood has been banned from seeing or chatting to his estranged wife Jo or his young Russian girlfriend Katia Ivanova for a month.

The ban has been put by none other than the Rolling Stone rocker’s medics, who fear that stress of any kind will see him turning to the bottle once again.

“Ronnie is not allowed to speak to his nearest and dearest while he is in rehab,” the Daily Star quoted a source, as saying.

The source, a friend of the rocker, said that Wood’s wife of 23 years Jo, is also aware of the ban and is willing to wait till it’s over to discuss their marital situation.

“He and Jo still have major issues to resolve. But Jo knows there is no point in even trying to talk to Ronnie until he is sober,” the pal said.

Legendry guitarist Ronnie Wood may not be joining the Rolling Stones when they set off on tour soon.

Wood, who is rumoured to having left his wife Jo for a 20-year-old Russian waitress, will instead be spending time in rehab.

Frontman Mick Jagger has finally decided to tour without the guitarist.

“Mick officially becomes a pensioner (retire) at the end of July and Keith (Richards) at the end of the year, and I think Mick wants to get another tour under his belt in case it gets to the point where he can’t do any more,” Contactmusic quoted a source as telling the Daily Express.

“What’s happened now is just something else and Mick and everyone can’t quite believe it.

“Mick is still dead set on going on tour and has even said that they will do the gigs without Ronnie if it comes to it,” the source said.

Ronnie Wood is so caught up in his life that he can’t decide whom he’s actually in love with – wife or the Russian mistress.

The rambling rocker is now having double minds as to whether he loves his wife or Ekaterina Ivanova, with whom he fled to County Kildare on a two-week booze-bender.

“Ronnie is in a real state. He’s so confused he’s forgetting what’s happening for long periods,” News of the World quoted a source, as saying.

Firstly the 61-year-old musician made drunken phone calls to his betrayed wife Jo, to talk about Ivanova.

He told her: “I love Ekaterina, I don’t f***ing love you any more.”

Still, moments later, he again telephoned her, saying: “I’m not gonna take anymore of this cr*p. I love you.”

In the meantime, it seems the confusion has even touched his 53-year-old wife, who is threatening to divorce Ronnie one minute and then agreeing to have marriage counselling with him the next.

The Russian cocktail waitress behind Ronnie Wood’s marriage and family being torn apart, has declared her love for the legendary rocker.

In an interview, Ekaterina Ivanova spoke for the first time after her affair with the Rolling stone star went public and vowed never to betray him.

But, the 20-year-old temptress, who met Ronnie in a seedy escort bar in April, maintained her silence when asked about a future with the 61-year-old star.

Following a long standing battle with alcohol, Rolling Stone star Ronnie Wood finally checked into rehab – after disappearing for ten days with a Russian cocktail waitress.

Wood, a former alcoholic, started drinking again after he met Ekaterina Ivanova in a bar and has been consuming two bottles of vodka a day.

“Following Ronnie’s continued battle with alcohol he has entered a period of rehab,” The Sun quoted a spokesman for the star, as saying.

Ivanova, regularly visited the 61-year-old rocker in The Priory last month, and even stayed with him the last time he sought help.

According to sources, the part-time model and waitress stayed twice at the centre in Roehampton, South West London – without any knowledge to Wood’s wife and family.

The liaison with the Russian waitress started when Ronnie had checked in after a wine-tasting session in the run up to his daughter Leah’s wedding.

“Everyone thought this girl must have been Ronnie’s daughter, but it quickly became apparent she wasn’t. We then assumed she was a groupie,” said a source.

And it was on July 16 that Ronnie finally left Ireland, where he had been with Ekaterina, after eventually answering calls from family and pals to get help.

It was also revealed that Ronnie did not participate in rehab meetings at the centre, even after checking in to beat the bottle. (ANI)

Sexagenarian ‘Rolling Stones’ guitarist Ronnie Wood is just not ready to listen to his family’s plea to go into rehab, say reports.

Sources have revealed that Ronnie, who has left his wife Jo after 23 years, and fled to Ireland with cocktail waitress Ekaterina Ivanova, is even ignoring calls from his family members.

“It’s so sad. He is in a really bad place at the moment. All the kids have rallied around Jo and are furious with their dad,” the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

“He won’t answer calls – he doesn’t want to hear them tell him to stop drinking,” the source added.

The newspaper report also suggests that Ronnie’s son Tyrone will fly to Ireland this week to try persuading the star to see sense.

The report even said that Ronnie had told his friends, “I’m staying here.”

The source said: “It was decided the only way to knock some sense into Ronnie is go out there and physically shake it into him.”

Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood reportedly told the 20-year-old Russian waitress he has been romancing, that his marriage effectively ended five years ago.

According to a pal, Wood seduced Ekaterina Ivanova by telling that his marriage was already over and she doesn’t have to blame herself if it ends in divorce.

“Ronnie is the first man she has had proper feelings for,” The Sun quoted the friend, as saying.

“It’s no secret that she has fallen for him in a big way. She said they were like any other young couple in love, except he is 61-year-old millionaire.

“Ronnie told her that although he still lives with his wife, their marriage has been dead for more than five years. She has totally fallen for him and had no reason to disbelieve him.

“Ekaterina is adamant she has done nothing wrong.

“Ronnie had told her his marriage was over anyway, and as far as she’s concerned she’s not to blame if it ends in divorce,” the friend added. (ANI)

Ronnie Wood’s wife has decided to end her 23-year marriage after learning about his relationship with an eighteen-year-old Russian bargirl.

Jo Wood left a furious message on the 61-year-old’s phone over his hook-up with Moscow-born cocktail waitress Ekaterina Ivanova.

“It’s sunk in he’s had an affair and she feels betrayed,” the Sun quoted a source, as saying.

“They had such a strong marriage. He’s thrown it all away with his stupid behaviour,” the source added.

Family and friends spent the weekend comforting blonde ex-model Jo after she made her heartbreaking decision.

“Jo has been through the mill. She thought he was only drinking buddies with the girl and she was hanging around him for free drinks,” the source said.

“Now everything has surfaced about how they met and Jo has hit rock bottom,” the source added. (ANI)

The Russian teenager who Rolling Stone star Ronnie Wood is now living with snared him by chatting him up at a sleazy escort bar.

The 61-year-old rocker was on one of his booze benders at the Capricorn Club on Goodge Street in London’s West End, when Ekaterina Ivanova decided to play her cards. The two are now in Ireland at Wood’s luxury home.

The news however, has come as much as a shock to his friends, as much as his wife of 23-years Jo. A source revealed that Wood and Ivanova visited Jones’s, a bar a mile from the rocker’s house. Their behaviour was very revealing.

“She had her arm around his neck when they were up at the bar. She was wearing jeans and a tracksuit top over a T-shirt but still looked very sexy. The way they were behaving there was no doubt they were together,” The Sun quoted the source, as saying.

The regular also revealed that as they got cosy in public, the couple downed 6pounds-a-time “Jagerbombs” – a concoction of the German herbal liqueur Jagermeister and Red Bull.

“They had three Jagerbombs each in about ten minutes. They’re absolutely lethal. It’s a whisky glass of Red Bull and a shot of Jagermeister which you down in one.

“For his last one Ronnie just added the shot into the remains of his existing drink because he said he didn’t like the taste of the Red Bull as much.

“He’d clearly had a few drinks before and was definitely drunk.

“He called the blonde girl Eka. She was very confident. When she picked up the glasses from the bar, she said, ‘That’s all we ever drink in London.’

“She spoke with what sounded like a London accent so I guess she hasn’t been living in Russia for a while.

“People round here know that Ronnie has a wife and they were amazed that he was so relaxed about being seen with this young girl.” (ANI)
