The faint and the fall of Amy Winehouse

Famous and troubled British singer Amy Winehouse fainted at her home in London on Monday. She was rushed to hospital after she fell down the stairs. Reports say that tests have been done but there has been no report of what actually went wrong with her. She is staying back in the hospital for more tests.
Friends of Amy Winehouse say that the singer is quite depressed and distressed and that is what has led to the fainting of the 24 year old. Winehouse’s battles with substance abuse and erratic behavior has been the subject of much media attention. In various interviews, she has admitted to having problems with self-harm, depression and eating disorders.
Probably this is the nature’s way of telling her to slow down, take a stock of the situation and amend it in a stepwise manner. Till then we can only wish her good luck as her fans!
