Thelma & Louise’s blue Ford Thunderbird, one of Hollywood’s most famous cars, is set to go under the hammer next month in Italy.
The convertible, which starred in the Oscar-winning movie alongside Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis - could fetch 20,000 pounds at the auction, reports the Mirror.
The film about escaping dull lives ends in a blaze of suicidal glory as they drive off a cliff. ‘Thelma & Louise’ became an instant critical and commercial success, becoming one of the highest grossing films of 1991, and receiving six Academy Award nominations, winning one for Best Original Screenplay.
Both Sarandon and Davis were nominated for their roles in the same category. (ANI)
