‘This Is It’: Elizabeth Taylor spends 40 minutes commenting on “This Is It”

“This Is It” a documentary film on Michael Jackson isn’t out until Wednesday, however, one of the late pop star’s best friends has labeled it as a masterpiece.
There is a brilliant rehearsal footage shot while Jackson was preparing for his series of comeback for July 2009 concerts. Taylor says the movie “cements forever Michael’s genius in every aspect of creativity” and she requests her fans to see it “again and again.”
It has emerged that the documentary has received a standing ovation from Elizabeth Taylor. People reports that the 77 year old longtime friend of late Michael, hosted a private screening of the documentary for several Jackson staff members, including his former assistant Miko Brando, at MGM Studios in L.A. last weekend.
Talking widely about the film Elizabeth Taylor spent around 40 minutes posting dozens of messages on her Twitter account after she saw a private screening on the Sony lot in Los Angeles on Monday.
The legendary actress gave the film two thumbs up after watching it according to Entertainment Tonight. A source revealed that Taylor, who attended Jackson’s funeral on 4th September, led a standing ovation at the end of the documentary.
Jackson died in June at age 50, just before he was to begin a 50-concert run in London. Michael Jackson’s This Is It” opens worldwide Tuesday night.
