Tiger Woods and Haiti Earthquake: Both need each other!

(By Ritesh Agarwal)

Haiti earthquake that has ravaged an entire nation needs financial as well as moral support from all quarters; be it from celebs or from the common man. And Tiger Woods is no exception. It’s being reported that the ace golfer Tiger, who is living in exile after public revelations of his disgraceful scandals, may emerge out of his den and lend his shoulders to the ill-fated victims of Nature’s fury.

Russell Simmons has hinted of the probability of Tiger emerging out of his confinement. Russell has scribbled in his twitter page, “heard tiger woods donating to send a cargo plane with a mobile hospital out there. Keep ur prayers high!”

Now, the official confirmation is still awaited; but if Russell’s statement is true, then it’d be nice to have Tiger back into the thick of things. The noteworthy point is that Tiger needs Haiti as much as the demolished country needs Tiger.

Haiti, a small Caribbean country is in dire need of funds and relief to avert a complete wipe-out of its economy and a strong backing can, certainly, prevent a complete annihilation.

Tiger, on the other hand, needs to socialise and indulge in philanthropic works so that his tarnished image is, somewhat, restored. And, there’s no doubt about the fact that the only way he can kill his demoniacal side is by reverting to humanity and shrinking away from sins.

  1. [...] The Tiger crack journalism is everywhere. For instance, here. [...]

  2. Tiger Woods paid millions to his mistresses for sex and to keep them silent. Now he is playing the role of a charitable man in order to repair his public image. True giving comes from the heart and does not need publicity. How SHAMEFULL it is for Tiger‘s team to use Haiti’s tragedy for their own selfish purpose! Sorry Tiger, you and your team can not fool us anymore. We now know what kind of persons you are and the word is UGLY.
