Tobey Maguire : Maguire to produce film based on ‘Good People’

Hollywood actor Tobey Maguire has been signed on to produce big screen adaptation of Marcus Sakey’s crime novel ‘Good People’.

The Spiderman star is also the frontrunner to play the male lead role.

The novel tracks the tale of a couple in debt from several rounds of futile fertility treatments who think their problems are solved when they stumble upon money found in their deceased tenant’s apartment.

The 33-year-old actor, who rose to fame with his role as Peter Parker, has also been signed on for Spider-Man 4 and 5 too, reports Variety magazine.

He is set to work with director Sam Raimi, who too has been roped in for the future instalments. (ANI)
