Tom Hanks’ wife involved in lawsuit over non-payment of ‘The Beatles’ poster

Tom Hanks’ wife Rita Wilson is caught up in a legal battle over the non-payment of a ‘The Beatles’ poster.

The actress made a deal to pay 50,000 pounds for a vintage picture of the Fab Four to seller Melissa Pearl.

Wilson was buying the poster for her actor hubby.

However, the only condition she had was that Pearl had to provide proof of authenticity, according to papers filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court.

But when Pearl failed to furnish the proof, Wilson backed out of the deal, according to celebrity website TMZ.com.

And now, Pearl is demanding payment for the print, with an additional 200,000 pounds “for what Peal absurdly characterised as her time and trouble to obtain the evidence requested by
Wilson that the poster was authentic,” reports The Daily Star.

Thus, Wilson is searching for a judge to legally declare she can walk away from the agreement. (ANI)
