Young actor Ayush Mahesh Khedekar’s
role as 7-year-old ‘Jamal’ in Daniel Boyle directed ‘Slumdog
Millionaire’ has made it to the list of Top 10 Big Screen
Performances of 2008.
According to the New York Post, Ayush’s performance in the
critically acclaimed film is adorable, compassionate and
unbelievably convincing without a hint of training.
Kristin Davis’ role as Charlotte Goldenblatt in “Sex and the
City: The Movie” came second for displaying unprecedented
gamut of emotions from baby joy to fiery anger.
Actor Jeffrey Donovan’s role as Capt. J.J. Jones in
“Changeling” came third followed by Penelope Cruz as Maria
Elena in “Vicky Cristina Barcelona.”
Robert Downey Jr.’s performance as Kirk Lazarus in “Tropic
Thunder” came fifth.
Wrapping up the top ten were Ari Graynor as Caroline in “Nick
and Norah’s Infinite Playlist”, Cate Blancett as Daisy in “The
Curious Case of Benjamin Button”, Heath Ledger as The Joker in
“The Dark Knight”, Wall-E in “Wall-E” and Mickey Rourke as
Randy “The Ram” Robinson in “The Wrestler”.
