Things you would need for the yummylicious gravy would be:
1. 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
2. Pan drippings from one turkey, with the fat poured off in the roasting pan
3. Sea salt, to taste
4. Ground black pepper, to taste
5. 1/2 cup white wine
6. 4 cups homemade /store bought chicken or turkey broth / stock, heated to a simmer
7. 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
That’s all you need, now let’s hit it. Take a saucepan and heat it up over medium flame and melt the butter in it, add flour while stirring the melted butter. It would soon turn into a fine paste. Now if you want the bright and sunny gravy, you must not heat it for too long and if you want that dark gravy, you sure can heat it longer and turn it darker. Now you need to pour the broth on it and keep on stirring. Bring the stuff to a boil and make sure there are no lumps. Then simmer for two minutes.
Now take another pan and pour or skim off the excess fat from the pan where the turkey was roasted (not the drippings). Now take the drippings in the pan were you cooked the turkey, heat it in medium flames and add white wine while continuously stirring. Stir that around 5 minutes and the brown bits of the dripping would reason while the alcohol flavor would also go away. Okay now put all the stuff you made in a single pan and add the salt and pepper according to you, mix it, and add fresh herbs of your choice (if you want any).
