‘Twilight’ sequel to release in November 2009

The filming for the sequel of the movie ‘Twilight’ has been speeded up to open in theatres for November 2009.

According to Summit Entertainment spokesman Paul Pflug, ‘New Moon’ the sequel will follow exactly 12 months after the first movie, and will be opening on November 20 next year, reports the China Daily.

Chris Weitz will be directing the movie, which is based on the second book in Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling series about the dangerous romance between a teen (Kristen Stewart) and a vampire (Robert Pattinson) fighting his bloodsucking instincts.

Weitz will be taking over the franchise from ‘Twilight’ director Catherine Hardwicke.

‘Twilight’ has shot to 150 million dollars at the box office since debuting November 21. (ANI)
